Why Peregrine?

When it comes to performance, the peregrine falcon is the fastest bird in the world, but far from the largest. In fact, its smaller size is actually a great advantage as it can respond quickly to changes in speed and direction. Similarly, Peregrine Chemical company is not the largest admixture company in the world, but because of its smaller size it can also respond more quickly to customer needs than its larger competitors.

Our story:

In 2002, two career cement and concrete admixture professionals developed Friction Block, a product that improves the appearances and production efficiencies of concrete block and other masonry units. Friction Block, a plasticizer, exceeded market expectations as soon as it was launched.

Next, Peregrine developed Power Block EDC, a performance enhancing block and paver admixture that included all the benefits of Friction Block along freeze-thaw resistance and efflorescence protection.

With the help of Great Eastern Technologies, Peregrine improved the performance characteristics of Power Block EDC and renamed it AquaShield.

Independent laboratory tests have proven that concrete products made with AquaShield outperform products made with admixtures from the four largest admixture producers.
